Jason White

I've spent 27 years building digital products, teams and infrastructure, deep in the trenches of the web since the late '90s. Along the way I've co-founded startups, run agency and in-house teams across e-commerce and legal tech, and built more than a few digital departments from scratch.

By day I'm Operations & Technology Director at a legal services firm, and a fractional CTO for businesses that need senior technical leadership without the full-time overhead. My speciality is the broken stuff: the platform that won't talk to the other platform, the spend that produces nothing, the team that walked out. Where others say next week, I say today.

This site is the other side of me. Every tool here, Flanders, AgentDeck, Barnacle, PillPad, Lughole, Snifflad, Tumbler and thisway, exists because I got fed up with software that kept getting heavier, pushier and more expensive while doing less. So I stopped complaining and built the versions I wanted: native, fast, no accounts, no subscriptions. I use every one of them daily.

I'm hands-on with AI and machine learning, building real tooling and wiring LLMs into real workflows, not just posting about it. AgentDeck is what that looks like when it escapes the lab.

I love a challenge, and I want to work with people who love the challenge equally. ツ
